    Congratulations to Max Field Hockey West/Midwest All-Region award winners from the St. John's 2018 undefeated SPC championship team. Frederique Fyhr '19 received 1st team honors and Amelie Perrier '19 was selected for 2nd team accolades. St. John's finished fifth in the final regional rankings.

  • State Champs!

    Congratulations to St. John's Wrestling for winning the 2019 Texas State Prep Dual Wrestling Championships. St. John's has finished runner up for the past three years but left no doubt this time with a 43-30 win over Bishop Lynch in the final dual match of unbeaten teams. St. John's also defeated St. Mark's, Episcopal School of Dallas, St. Thomas, and McKinney Christian for a 5-0 sweep and their first Texas State Dual championship.

    St. John’s Head Wrestling Coach Alan Paul and his long-time assistant Danny Henderson reached the 200-win mark in dual wrestling competitions by defeating Kinkaid at the inaugural Houston Private School Duals.  Up next is the Texas State Prep Duals hosted by St. John's on Saturday.

  • Swimming & Diving Making Waves

    A week ago Boys' Swimming & Diving took first place at the Kyle Tilley Invitational. This past weekend the Girls' team won the Alvin Classic.  Next up is the tri-meet with Kinkaid and Episcopal (Lamar Pool) on January 24. On February 2 the inaugural South Zone meet will be held at the Alief-Ness Natatorium.

    When Coach Alan Paul arrived at St. John’s 12 and a half years ago, his goal was to raise the level of the wrestling program and compete for an SPC championship.  At that time he never imagined that St. John’s would be competitive at the national level.
