Boys Run Away with 52nd Maverick Relays Title

Genson Hooper Price was awarded the Stephen Kaestner Outstanding Male Athlete Award at the 52nd Maverick Relays after winning the 100 meters, 400 meters, and anchoring both the winning 4x100 and 4x400 Relays today.  Genson also won the Triple Jump, setting a Mav Relays record of 44'11.25. The Boys team won with 119 points and St. Thomas was second with 63.  The Girls team finished with some great performances and PRs. Complete Results are HERE


August Windham won the Pole Vault at 13'6; Will Leger tied for 2nd in the High Jump; and the Boys 4x800 team of Davis Thames, Emmanual Sgouros, Josh Schwartz, and Douglas Parsley set a new meet record winning the 4x800 relay in 8:15.80.  The boys' team of Travis Ho, Michael Musallam, Will Skinner, and Aloye Oshotse placed 3rd in the Swedish Relay.

Ciela Stark, Shelby DesRoches, Hannah Garrou, and Mira Thakur finished 2nd in the Swedish Relay, the team of Beck, Eikenburg, Calhoun, and Cai finished 4th in the 4x800 Relay, and Shelby DesRoches jumped a PR of 16'0 to place 3rd in the Long Jump.

Shelby Desroches placed 3rd in the 200 meters and 4th in the 100 meters, the team of Hannah Garrou, Shelby Desroches, Ciela Stark, and Mira Thakur placed 2nd in the 4x100 relay, and Cici Calhoun and Catie Beck were 4th and 6th in the 800 meters.

Douglas Parsley and Davis Thames finished 2-3 in the 800 meters and Lethan Hampton placed 2nd in the 400 meters with a PR.
