Bing Named Player of the Match in Loss to India

Kelsey Bing ‘16 was named Player of the Match in the heartbreaking loss to India in their final Olympic qualifier. In a winner take all ticket to Tokyo, the two teams played two games with the aggregate score to determine the winner.  India won the first game 5-1. The next day the USWNT made a comeback bid to win the second game but was one goal shy in a 4-1 triumph. Bing’s Stanford Cardinal Field Hockey team will now prepare for their America East quarterfinal versus Albany.
