Mavericks Pin Vype Wrestling Awards

Sebastian Jimenez '21 and Ken Matsunaga '21 were nominated for the Vype Private School Boys Wrestling Player of the Year for the Vype High School Sports Awards. Jimenez took home the honors alongside the Boys' Wrestling Private School Coach of the Year, Head Coach Alan Paul. The 2020 Maverick Wrestling team was also recognized as the Private School Team of the Year. St. John's Wrestling has won back to back triple crowns in Texas wrestling (State Duals, Prep State, and SPC) for the 2019 and 2020 seasons.
