Falcons Edge Out Mavericks

The Middle School Girls Tennis team opened their season against their tough rivals from Kinkaid on a sunny afternoon at the Lost Forest Tennis Club.  The match consisted of 2 doubles matches and 3 singles matches.  The doubles teams of Serina/Skylar and Jennifer/Kristen lost in straight sets to their seasoned Falcons opponents, as did Remy at the #1 Singles position to her excellent opponent.  At #2 Singles, Sophia J. won her first set in a tiebreaker, lost her second set, and then came back to win the super tiebreaker for the third set.  At #3 Singles, Morgan similarly won her first set in a tiebreaker, lost her second set, and then won her super tiebreaker for the third set.  So, the Falcons won the overall match 3-2.  Congratulations to the Falcons and the Mavericks for their excellent efforts, and thanks so much to our parents for their wonderful support!
