Girls' Golf Wins South Zone Championship

St. John’s Girls’ Varsity Golf won the 2021 South Zone Championship held at Woodforest Golf Club in Montgomery, Texas on Tuesday. The Mavericks shot a team total of 315 for first place ahead of Kinkaid (322). Ashley Yen ’22 finished first place overall with a score of 72 and Brielle Burns ’24 shot 75 for fourth place. Eloise Chapman ’23 posted an 82 for 8th, and Reyna Ngu ’22 turned in an 86 for 10th to factor in the team tally.  St. John's Boys', led by Sean O'Neal '21 (73, tied for 3rd) and Aiden Manji '21 (75, 6th), finished in third place.
