Swimming & Diving Making Waves
A week ago Boys' Swimming & Diving took first place at the Kyle Tilley Invitational. This past weekend the Girls' team won the Alvin Classic. Next up is the tri-meet with Kinkaid and Episcopal (Lamar Pool) on January 24. On February 2 the inaugural South Zone meet will be held at the Alief-Ness Natatorium.
Maverick Swimming & Diving prove competitive at the Kyle Tilley Invitational. The Boys' team won five events to finish in first place (426 pts) and Girls' team won 10 events to finish second (356 pts).
Maverick Girls' won the Alvin Classic led by five first-place finishes for 443 points. The Boys' finished third with two first-place finishes for 362 points.
