St. John’s Girls and Boys Cross Country teams traveled to Louisville, Kentucky, to run in the Trinity-Valkyrie Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, September 19. The Mavericks will spend part of Friday touring Churchill Downs, the one-mile track famous for the Saturday “Run for the Roses” held in May. Tomorrow’s 5K races begin at 7:00 a.m. The Mavericks look to finish strong down the homestretch.
