Maverick Cross Country Teams Compete in Kentucky

St. John’s Girls and Boys Cross Country teams traveled to Louisville, Kentucky, to run in the Trinity-Valkyrie Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, September 19. The Mavericks spent part of Friday touring Churchill Downs, the one-mile track famous for the Saturday “Run for the Roses” held in May.  The Mavs were strong down the homestretch, with the boys finishing 7th out of 33 teams and the girls 10th out of 22 teams.
