St. John's monumental task of showing up on the field at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday morning was not just a drive from the hood to Caven Field on 3/15/08.  From the yellow school bus to the SW flight to the baggage tram and then the Disney Magical Express, and finally the bus from Bill's Dynamic fleet, the Mavericks did all they could to lug their own gear and old bag number 45 to take on the Hun School of New Jersey.

Disney dirt kept the Mavs in static mode for most of the first half, but Edward Williams started to get his patented post scoring prance down with 5 tallies on the day.  William Young had a hat trick and Patrick Wilkey and Zach Gaitz also scored.  Luke Phillips finished with an assist and led the team in face offs.
