St. John's was notified weeks in advance that Germantown Academy would be wearing their red jerseys and we obliged to wear white for the late game on 3/16.  The similarities in uniforms seemed to be the only thing in common for the contest under the evening lights of Disney's Wild World of Sports complex.
Earlier in the day, the Mavericks lost to Westminster, CT from one of the top New England private school conferences.
Unfortunately, St. John's would be taking on a Germantown team from one of the toughest leagues in the Philadelphia.

Germantown looked small compared to the Texas sized Mavericks.  Yet for what they lacked in size they made up in speed and stick skills, shredding St. John's defensive front to pull away early and hand St. John's a stinging loss that would take more than a ride on Space Mountain to forget.
