St. John's beats tournament host Presbyterian 54-31 and advances to the championship game tonight at 7:45pm. The Mavs controlled the game from start to finish going up 17-9 after the 1st quarter and led 29-15 at the half. We continued to play well in the second half, leading 43-20 after three quarters of play. A strong 4th quarter sealed the victory for the Mavericks. 

All 8 players who played in this game contributed to the win. Justise Winslow led all scorers with 14. William "Trish" Trieschman scored in double digits with 10. Hot shooting Cade Shanks had 8 points and William Mercado also added 8 points. Wayne Wanguri played hard under the basket grabbing many key rebounds and added 5 points. Jim Mace scored 4 points in the 1st quarter and distributed the ball to his teammates the rest of the game. Joshua Hanson hit his first shot of the day, a big three pointer in the 3rd quarter. Wes Wallace played a solid all around game rebounding, passing, playing defense, and chipped in 2 points on offense. 

On to the championship game for the Mavs!
