The 4th Nick Finnegan Spring Invitational will be help April 17-18, 2009 at the McMurrey Memorial Track.  This meet, traditionally held in the spring around Good Friday or ISAS Arts Festival, has been held for 25 years.  It was renamed in honor of Nick Finnegan a year after his tragic death in 2004 in an accident that also took the life of Scotty Caven.

Nick looved this meet, and he ran one of his 1600m school records at the Spring Invitational.  He always loved to compete.  We look forward to a great meet with 11 total schools, 7 SPC school (three from out of town).  The schedule is below.

This is also the last home meet for seniors, so come out and watch Kelley Harrison, Nelly Kontchou, Emmie Proctor, Shanice Beasley, Brittany Beavers, Ethan Edmondson, Travis Foxhall, Carlos Falcon, and Jeff Coburn compete for the last ime at St. John's School!
