Down 0-2, Girls Varsity Volleyball comes back by in a respectfully Hurricane Ike fashion, and win 3 straight to win an important conference match vs. John Cooper.  Starters M.A. Boles, Alex Beckham, Meryl Gibbs, Jane Labanowski, Angela HA, and Alia Nazir step up big to take control of the last 3 sets to win.  Even bigger, 5'5 setter Avery landrum, steps in as setter for swine flu victim Veronica Newlin, and quarterbacks the team to victory!  Way to go MAVS!
