Former Maverick Greg Cook Finishes Illustrious Career at Rhodes!
Greg Cook finished his college athletic carreer in grand style as the Rhodes College Men's Track and Field team took first place in the 2010 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship meet.
In the qualifying round Greg set the Rhodes College school record for a machine timed 400 meter race with a time of 49.89. He finished third in the finals.
His javelin throw of 53.58 meters placed him first overall. Greg's triple jump distance of 13.70 meters was good enough for a third place conference championship finish.
As the last track contestant for Rhodes College in 2010, Greg anchored the men's 4 x 400 meter relay team to a third place conference finish.
