Tim Otey jumped 43'7.75" to win the Triple Jump and break the old St. John's TJ record set by Winfield Campbell in the early 1990s!  The Girls Sprint Medley Relay team of Sam Night, Abby Avery, Daphne Desjardins, and Anne Johnson broke the year-old school record with a time of 4:19.10 to finish second in the event.

 

Other good results can be found HERE!  After Day 1, the girls lead the meet by .5 points over EHS; the boys are tied for 2nd with St. Thomas, only 9 points behind EHS!

 

Several more SPC qualifiers!!!  Brianna Williams and Lauren Lockett in the throws, Meryl Gibbs in HJ, Allie Robinson new PR in PV, Patrick Flam good TJ mark, Xavier Gonzales-Ryan Reza-Philip Taffet all qualified in 3200m!!!

 

As of tonight, we are still on for 8:30 non scoring 1600m and 9am 4x100 and the rest of the events.  LOOK FOR AN EMAIL OR STORY ON WHIPPLE HILL AT 6:00AM TO SEE IF WE ARE STILL ON SCHEDULE OR IF THERE WILL BE A DELAY BASED ON THE STORM FRONT!!!
