Tim Otey jumped 22'8.75" to break a 31 year old record and win the B Division of the Texas Relays. Jackie Modesett ran 14.81a and qualified 2nd for Saturday's 2:50pm final in the girls DI 100m Hurdles. The boys 4x400 team of Sam Jamison, Nathan Avery, Derek Fossi, and Jonathan Ong ran a season best 3:39.27a. Sam Jamison ran a PR 15.95a in the 110m Hurdles, Sam Night ran a PR 100m in 12.94a, Jonathan Bradford ran a solid 11.76a, Kory Haywood endured 4 false starts to finally run a good race tha went untimed!!! Unfortunately, Anne Johnson did not make the trip because of a stomach flu and Abby Avery was bothered by a sore calf, so the girls did not run the 4x400 relay qualifying round.
