Mavericks Shine with Personal Bests at JV League Championships

For the boys, Risher Randall won the High Jump and placed third in the Triple Jump, William Mercado PRed at 5'4 in the High Jump and placed 6th, Jake Peacock PRed to finish 3rd inthe 800 meters and 6th in the 1600 meters, Philip taffet PRed to place 3rd in the 1600 meters, Will Bomar cleared a PR height in the Pole Vault, and Josh Otey jumped 17'11.75" to place 6th in the Long Jump.
The girls performed just as well, with Kristen Santiago's PRs in the Pole Vault and 800 meters placing her 2nd in both. Maddie Clayton (PR!), Helen Sharpless (with a PR jump), and Kristen Willson finshed 3,5, and 6th respectively in the Pole Vault
