THe Mavericks won the girls Tri-Meet against Episcopal and Incarnate Word 83-79-7.  The boys had some improved performances in sprints, throws, and distances.  Go HERE for complete results on athletic.net.  

Jackie Modesett broke the St. John's School record in the 200 meters with a time of 25.54 (old record Courtney Miller - 25.61 in 2006), Elise Vigeut ran a PR 2:24.7 in the 800 meters, and the 4x100 and 4x400 teams ran season bests!  Allie Robinson won the Pole Vault with a jump of 8'6, and Briana Williams threw 101'2" in the Discus Throw and a PR 31'2.5" in the Shot Put. Sam Jamison won the 300 hurdles and finished 2nd in a season best int he 110 hurdles, Jonathan Bradford and Lee Hampton qualifed for SPC in the 100 meters and Lee jumped a season best in the Long Jump, and Robby Smith threw a PR in the Shot Put.
