Mavericks Slosh Through Muddy Hillacious Course; JV Wins the 3A and Below Varsity Division!
The boys ran some good individual performances, albeit with slow times, on a rain-soaked, ankle-deep muddy, and very hilly Brenham High School course. The Varsity ran in the 5A-4A Division, placing 3rd, and the JV ran in the 3A and Below Division, with the Mavericks claiming the title for the second consecutive year! Click for results and more...
The boys ran some good individual performances, albeit with slow times, on a rain-soaked, ankle-deep muddy, and very hilly Brenham High School course. The Varsity ran in the 5A-4A Division, placing 3rd, and the JV ran in the 3A and Below Division, with the Mavericks claiming the title for the second consecutive year! Joe Faraguna and Julian Henry were the top two Mavericks in the 5-4A race, and Max Melcher, Luke Kramer, Daniel Bland, Gustavo Anaya, and Juan Philippe were the 5 scorers for the champions in the 3A race. Both groups ran impressively as the varsity had only 36 seconds between the number 1 and 5 runners, and the Mavericks who won the 3A division had about 50 seconds between the 1st and 5th runner!
