In the first half of the game, strong defense from Ella West, Mia Baumann, Gabby Jammar, and Claire Pedrick, along with Savi Augustine's mere presence in the goal, repelled any scoring attempts from the Wolves. The Masterson sisters worked together on the left side of the field while Ellie Monday and Lucia Valderberrano held down the right side. Sloan Davidson, Erin Walsh, and Addie Fairbanks tag-teamed in the middle and Eliot Aiman had an exciting breakaway, but at the half the score remained 0-0.
 In the second half, Eliot took to the cage, with Gabby Jammar, Claire Pedrick, and Lili Masterson, Savi Augustine, and Ella West all contributing to the defensive line. After the Wolves snuck in a goal, the Mavs made a phenomenal comeback with strong middfield presense from Olivia Frankfort, Ashley Yen, Peyton Self, Erin Walsh and Katharine Stepanian. Lucia Valderberrano, Sloan Davidson, Maira Ansari, and Mia Masterson  worked hard on the forward line and were able to get two goals past the SFE goalie, Sloan Davidson getting the finals touches on both! Way to go, Mavs!
