2017-2018 Middle School State Wrestling Champions

Middle School Wrestling State Champs!

St. John's Middle School Wrestling team won the State Championship for the fourth consecutive year.  St. John's finished with 191 points, just ahead of runner-up Liberty Christian (182). Rockwall Utley finished third with 148. 30 teams and approximately 400 wrestlers competed in the event hosted by Carroll High School in Southlake, Texas. Individual accomplishments: 1st- Ben Sanders-98 (SJS's first 7th grade State Champion). 2nd- John Perdue-162, Alejandro Garza-175. 4th- Oliver Magdol-126, John Avery Foutch-140, Owen McCabe-150, Duncan McClaren-HWT.
