SJS defeats St. Andrew's in second game

SJS returned to the softball diamond Friday afternoon taking on St. Andrew's in Austin.  The team run-ruled their second opponent on the day 12-0.  Nora Niebruegge had three hits, two of them for doubles; scored three runs and drove in 3 runs as well.  Virginia Waldrop had three hits as well, two of them for triples.  In addition, she scored two runs.  Dani Pike had two hits as the DP and stole two bases.  Regan Rau, Gabby Wise, Lizzy Padhi each had one hit apiece.
Freshman Laura Burdine picked up the win, striking out 4 and allowing only 3 hits.
