MAVS RUN AWAY FROM MUSTANGS FOR SOUTH DISTRICT WIN

St. John's Mavericks won  their THSLL South District opener over the Kingwood Mustangs Wedenesday night on Scotty Caven Field.
With the media editing class in full force, the Mavs took an early lead and never gave it back to Kingwood.
Tim Root started the scoring and hats off to Peter Guffey, Reed Daniel, and Edward Williams, all with 3 goals each.
Tri Captain, Luke Phillips, led the team with 7 gb's.  Zach Gaitz and William Young also scored.
The Vasity hosts Lamar on Wednesday, March 5, 7pm on Caven Field.
