MAIDENS DEAL MAVS FIRST LOSS OF SEASON

The Iron Maidens of Cy Fair came to Caven Field with their "game on" and bested the Mavericks 15-11 on Thursday night.  Hats off to Cy Fair, who was the better team on the field for that day.  The Mavericks will now have to look within to see how they can maximize their individual talents to create a stronger TEAM.  Indeed, the post-game refrain was the need for more full-speed drills in practice and more TEAM effort in practice and games.  It will take hard work to beat Cy Fair if we have the opportunity to face them again, but for now, the focus is on Kinkaid: a team that took EHS to overtime last week.  Expect another tough game, Mavericks!  Let's roll up our sleeves and get ready for those Falcons!
