Learning Weekend ends with a Win!

The Texas Tornado Tournament was our big test to see if we could take everything we have been learning over the last couple weeks and put it into play in 5 matches. Even though there was some hard competition the girls really proved that they took in all the new volleyball knowledge. We had a rough start to the tournament with a couple losses but our last game the girls fought hard and won game one! In game two the Mavericks were down 18-7 and Jillian Ticatch and Sallie Chambers went on two awesome service runs to help us come back and win our first game! The Mavericks are looking to continue learning and growing as a team throughout the rest of the season with many more wins to come!
