Mavericks Win Girls and Boys Dual vs. Houston Christian

The Boys defeated Houston Christian by a score of 202-91 and the Girls won 177-127 in the annual SJS-HCHS Dual Meet. There were some good early season / bad weather performances, highlighted by Jackie Modesett tying her 300 Hurdles record and Sam Jamison running a good 300 Hurdles race, Briana Williams and Robby Smith throwing well in the Discus, Justin Bernard jumping well in the Triple Jump, and Ryan Reza and Jake Peacock qualfiying for the SPC standard in the 3200m with PRs!
