Led by Jonathan Newar's '13 performance at the x (7), ground balls (6), and 4 points (2/2), St. John's took off in the fourth period for an 8-1 finish.

Led by a 6 goal outing from Kinkaid's Andrew Campbell, the Maverick lead was cut to 8-7 when the final quarter began.

In a 55 second time span St. John's reeled off 3 goals from Newar/Gow, Logan Smith '13, and Berkman/Gow.  Bernicker/Gow, Gow/Newar, Berkman/Grayson Crady '13, Eric Hobby '13, and Zach Tippitt '13/Michael Cregan '13 took over the offense for the win.

Team defense, led by Nate Whittle's '12 7 saves, held Kinkaid to 1 score in the final period.  David Edwards '13 led the Mavericks with 7 gb's on the night.

With the win, St.  John's finishes 4-0 in the SPC and will be the #1 seed from SPC South and will play ESD in the first round of the tournament starting on April 13th in Austin, TX (St. Andrew's School).
