Good First Day For Mavericks at the Episcopal Relays

Boys and girls had many good performances on a beautiful day one of the Episcopal Relays, highlighted by the girls and boys 4x800 teams both finishing second, Jackie Modesett winning the high jump and Stephanie Guo placing third, Joe Faraguna running a PR to place 5th in the 3200 meter run, and the boys 4x100 running a season best to qualify 4th in the 4x100 Relay.  Complete results are HERE.  Day two tomorrow - 4pm field events and 5:30pm running finals - many Maverick qualifiers, including Sam Night in the 100 and 200m, all three Maverick girls in the 100 Hurdles and 300 Hurdles, Elise Viguet int he 400m, Lee Hampton in the 100m, Justin Bernard and Andrew Jing in the 110 Hurdles, and Andrew Jing in the 300 Hurdles, plus the girls and boys 4x100 relay teams!
