Mavericks Battle Emery Weiner on a Split Squad Match Day
On Monday, April 4, the St. John's JV Tennis Team traveled to Lee LeCLear Tennis Center to take on the Jaguars of Emery Weiner and the Mustangs of the Briarwood School.
Emery Weiner brought a small contingent of players from its varsity and JV squads and prevailed 3 matches to 1 with two of the losses coming down to a tie breaker and one service break.
With this in mind, we look forward to our rematch a week away on Monday, April 11 back at Lee LeClear.
