Day 1 of the 50th Maverick Relays

The boys have a 1 point lead and the girls are in second place after day 1 of the 50th St. John's Maverick Relays.  Finals begin tomorrow at 9am with 4x100 and the Girls Discus.  Complete Results of Day 1 are HERE.  The girls team of Isaac, Melcher, Barboza, and Brown won the 4x800, and the boys team of Skinner, Marx, Thakur, and Hooper set the meet record winning the Swedish Relay.  Boys were 2nd in the 4x800 and girls were 2nd in the Swedish Relay.  Isabelle Paine was 2nd in the Long Jump, and Jarrell Sims won the Discus.
