Chang Wins NCAA Elite Scholar-Athlete Award as Hopkins Advances

Megan Chang '22 and the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays Field Hockey team have a 20-game winning streak heading into the NCAA D3 semifinals against Babson. In their last game, Hopkins topped Middlebury with Chang's former teammate Grace Nockolds '21, scoring the game-winner. While Chang leads the team in points (28) she did not account for any points in the Middlebury win. She did tally another stat: the NCAA Elite Scholar-Athlete Award, given to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA who is participating at the site of the NCAA finals for each NCAA championship.
