Stephanie Guo, Sam Jamison, and Jackie Modesett are competing in the New Balance Outdoor Nationals in Greensboro, North Carolina. Stephanie did well in the first day of the Heptathlon and Jackie ran 14.49 in the 100 Hurdles but di not make finals - she was 14th out of 24 hurdlers in the championship division. The girls went into the 4x400 relay down by one point to Episcopal (deja vu!) and broke the school record to win another comback SPC Title. The boys 4x400 ran the best school time in years to secure a much-improved 6th place finish for the boys. Click for full results and photos!

There were many good performances on a beautiful Maverick Relays day at McMurrey Memorial Track. The girls finished 2nd, only 2 points behind Concordia Lutheran, without a few key performers in Chicago and with minor injuries, so the team was happy with the peformance!
