Unfortunately, the Girls 4 x 400 Relay team met with bad luck in the finals. After a strong lead leg by Stephanie Guo and a solid second leg by Sam Night, Abby Avery had the baton knocked out of her hand after the exchange and had to run backwards 5 meters to retreive the baton and run a hard third leg. Jackie Modesett ran a strong anchor to pass one team and finish in 8th place with a season best 4:08.52.
