Mavericks at B.A.R.C. Tourney

The Middle School Girls Tennis team left school at 6:30AM to travel to the Bay Area Racquet Club (next to NASA) to play a tournament with 8 schools under cloudy (and occasionally drizzly) skies.  In Singles, Sophia J. won three of her four matches, and Morgan won her first two matches before losing to two Awty opponents in her last pair of matches.  In doubles, Jennifer and Begona won their first and third matches (out of four) to finish in 6th place in the 16-team draw.  Congratulations to the Mavericks for their wonderful efforts throughout the day!
