Texas Fast- Sgouros Sets Record at Arcadia Invitational

Emmanuel Sgouros ’22 broke Texas’ top all-time high school record in the 3200 meters at the Arcadia Invitational, known as the most prestigious prep track and field meet in the country, held at Arcadia HS in the San Gabriel Valley north of Los Angeles. Sgouros ran a time of 8:47.19, 14 seconds faster than his previous school record. In one of the deepest fields ever, 23 boys out of 31 ran under nine minutes. Sgouoros finished 7th.
