St. John's Boys Prevail Over Emery Weiner
On a gray and windy day, the St. John's JV Boys battled Emery Weiner in less than ideal conditions.
With winds gusting to over 30 miles per hour, conditions could have made things dicier for our lads but cooler heads prevailed.
Again, the match format was a series of timed matches, with each game counting towards the final score.
The traveling squad consisted of:
Graham Johnson
Micah Kan
William Liang
Teo Nelson
Daniel Pan
Boone Roeser.
In doubles, each of the pairings (Nelson/Pan, Johnson/Liang, Kan/Roeser) started the match play with victories, with all six winning their singles handily.
Next up, Memorial High School at their courts at 3:45 PM at their courts on campus, on Thursday, February 29.
